Safeguarding First is a charity organisation that provides low cost or free safeguarding training to individuals who volunteer with children and young people. Our mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect by educating volunteers on how to recognise, report, and respond to any signs of abuse.
Our team consists of experienced professionals who have a passion for protecting children and ensuring their safety. We believe that every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment to grow and thrive in. Join us in our mission to safeguard our future generation.

Meet the Team
Lucy Pincott
Director
Lucy is a science teacher with a passion for the promotion of safeguarding.
She set up Safeguarding First after becoming frustrated with the lack of quality training available to the public.
Rosie Staden
Trustee
Rosie is a counsellor who has spent many years working with young people who have experienced abuse. She has a wealth of experience in the charity sector, having previously set up and co-directed a mental health charity in South London.
Diane Pincott
Trustee
Diane is a qualified accountant and has experience working within the CAMHS.
